Chris & Megan's Oakland Engagement
Megan kept apologizing for the amount of props she'd lined up, but I think it's obvious that they were all extremely necessary. We were all over Oakland, proving that you can get a really wide variety of shots without ever leaving the city. Honestly, we could have done it without ever even moving the car.
If you want some extremely Pittsburgh portraits, you've got to start at the Point. As a bonus, the fountain spray is a nice way to cool off on what turned out to be an incredibly toasty day.
A shout out to Pitt, of course.
We faked a picnic, although I kept insisting there was no reason NOT to drink champagne in the middle of the day.
We kept waiting for tiny adorable children to finish up their carousel rides between shots. Totally worth the wait for this.
Normally when someone asks where to do their engagement portraits, I wouldn't think "the train station!" But Pittsburgh's is cool as hell. This Amtrak station is now an apartment complex, but it's got some beautiful architecture.
