Chris & Megan's Oakland Engagement

Megan kept apologizing for the amount of props she'd lined up, but I think it's obvious that they were all extremely necessary. We were all over Oakland, proving that you can get a really wide variety of shots without ever leaving the city. Honestly, we could have done it without ever even moving the car.klamerus-10If you want some extremely Pittsburgh portraits, you've got to start at the Point. As a bonus, the fountain spray is a nice way to cool off on what turned out to be an incredibly toasty day.klamerus-13klamerus-23klamerus-36A shout out to Pitt, of course.klamerus-37We faked a picnic, although I kept insisting there was no reason NOT to drink champagne in the middle of the day.klamerus-42klamerus-43klamerus-45We kept waiting for tiny adorable children to finish up their carousel rides between shots. Totally worth the wait for this.klamerus-56klamerus-58klamerus-63Normally when someone asks where to do their engagement portraits, I wouldn't think "the train station!" But Pittsburgh's is cool as hell. This Amtrak station is now an apartment complex, but it's got some beautiful architecture.klamerus-78klamerus-81klamerus-87klamerus-89klamerus-91klamerus-92we want your skullsWedding planning guideWedding planning guide for intimate weddings, adventure weddings, and elopements
