You’re engaged! Yay! Now what?
pittsburgh wedding + elopement photographer.
Opt out of the stress of perfect and embrace a day that reflects what you love. Have some damn fun! A small wedding really opens up the possibilities for where you can have a heartfelt, intimate ceremony and a wild celebration with your favorite people. Non-traditional is my jam.
Romantic black and whites, joyful candids. Film look, without the film cost. I’m not afraid of shadows, and go for moody tones with happy vibes. Rich, not dark. True colors, both visually and metaphorically. I’ll give enough direction to help you look your absolute best, but still feel like yourself.
I love the great outdoors (give me campgrounds and mountains), and I’m super at home figuring out oddball locations (also give me restaurants and renovated bank vaults). Anything can be an adventure, if you look at it in the right light.
Rave reviews for Caroline Moore
your friendly neighborhood wedding photographer
“Having Caroline as our photographer was probably one of the best decisions I’ve made for our wedding. Her photography style is exactly what I was looking for, candid, natural yet beautiful and classic. She was relaxed yet professional and somehow managed to be everywhere in the wedding and capturing many precious moments. We have received countless compliments on how beautiful our pictures turned out to be. Overall, an absolute delight to work with! I can’t recommend her enough.”
“Caroline was a great photographer to work with. Her professionalism throughout the planning stages, during photo shoots, and on the big day itself was outstanding! Her organization was top-notch, and the photos looked great. Our venue was more challenging to shoot because it involved indoor low-lighting, but we were happy that the photos still turned out beautifully. Caroline captured not only the big moments — the walk down the aisle, the kiss, etc. — but the small, heartfelt moments, too.”
“Caroline photographed our wedding on Halloween. The pictures are beautiful! Caroline understood our aesthetic and was friendly and easy to work with. We couldn't be happier with the results. We highly recommend Caroline and will definitely hire her again.”
you’re in the right place if…
You want a relaxed, laid-back wedding day, where you get to have fun.
You totally don’t care about what a wedding is supposed to be, and are just gonna get married however the hell you want.
You’d rather capture spontaneous, honest, imperfect moments than fashion magazine style.
You’re up for a little adventure, and maybe a little exploring weird spaces for portraits.
You’re excited to share your day with the people you love most (and, for some of you, with the dogs you love most.) Because a family can be whatever you make it.
You want your photos to not just reflect how you looked, but how your day felt. To tell the whole story.
Choose your own adventure
From your first inquiry to the delivery of your photos, I’m striving to make your experience laid-back, relaxed, and easy. If you’re looking for someone to slap some jpegs on a jump drive and call it a day, I’m not your photographer.
Before the wedding, I’ll talk to you and your person about what you want for your wedding, and help with putting together your timeline, vendor recommendations, and brainstorming great portrait locations. By the time your wedding day is here, we won’t feel like strangers.
Digital files are included, and are delivered in an online gallery. You can also share the link with your family and friends, so they can order whatever they want without hassling you. But I also want you to have tangible prints, which is why each of these collections comes with an album credit. Reminders of the people you love should live on your walls, your desks, your bookcases, and not just somewhere in a folder on a hard drive. Your family will value those pieces long after we’ve all forgotten what DVDs were for. You’ll have the option to make an ordering appointment with me, where I can help you choose your favorites, and decide how to best display them.
If you’re not local, I don’t have a set “fee” for travel, and just charge what it actually costs me. I’m happy to travel outside of the United States as well, and keep my passport current. But due to very strict laws, I’m unable to work in Canada. Canada has absolutely no chill about this matter.

I’m trying to be an environmentally conscious business, and to lessen my impact on the Earth wherever possible. Maybe you are, too. If you’re committing to making your wedding environmentally friendly (by going plastic free, donating your flowers, sourcing sustainable gifts, and the like) then I’ll give you $100 off. If you’d really love to make your celebration a little more eco conscious and just aren’t sure where to start, I can help!
