A city engagement with Brittany and Keith
These two were up for whatever I threw at them. Silly prompts? Yep, we'll give it a go. Forty degree weather? Sure thing, let's bust out the scarves. I met Brittany a while back at Dobra Tea House (big thumbs up on their plum tea), but I didn't get to meet Keith until we were already at the Three Rivers Heritage Trail and I was asking them to spin out on the dock. They were both so cheerful, it totally made up for the weather during their city engagement session.
They're both sort of in the television business - Brittany works in video production, and Keith is a creative non-fiction writer. So when I'd give them something to do, Keith asked "should I just do a few takes?" And just be still my photographer heart. I'm super used to explaining these sorts of things to folks, because they're usually not in that kind of business, and I totally don't mind doing that. But it's nice once in a while to work with someone where you have a bit of a shorthand. Okay, onto the beautiful city engagement photos.
I asked her to spin him, too. Just for like gender equality and also funsies.
We had only a very loose plan for where we were going to be shooting. We ended up just walking up and down the trail, and happened to see this fun, colorful sculpture park. It's a little hard to find color in Pittsburgh when it's nearly winter, so it was a nice surprise for our city engagement photos.
It also had the PERFECT bench to show off Brittany's boots.
