Jenn & Steve & Linus Get Engaged
I get a lot of requests to include dogs in all kinds of photo shoots (and a cat, once, but let me tell you, they hate it.) Our fur babies have been a big part of our lives since we brought them home, so it only makes sense to include them. Thankfully Linus had a lot of space to burn off energy before being called to set, because that pup's got a ton of it. We decided to do the session at South Park, and as it happened, so did two weddings and an adorable little girl getting portraits up in the field. Everyone worked well together, and I think everyone was able to keep other sessions from photo bombing them.He just wants to be held like a giant fluffy baby.Their wedding has a Disney theme, and we took a few photos just for their Save the Date cards. Linus was very cooperative for most of them, before he got distracted by some squirrels, I assume.I love this shot, and I love that looking at it, you'd never know we were like right next to a gross looking road. The magic of photography. These two so obviously make each other happy, and it's always great to work with couples like that. One of the weddings is actually going on behind them, you can spot a few people if you're looking closely. These two definitely didn't notice.Of course, they had to rep Slippery Rock in their photos. We didn't plan it ahead of time, but I'm glad they went with complementary sweatshirts instead of matching. It's a good look. After the other wedding wrapped up, we could take some photos over at the gazebo in South Park. They had a Pens game to go to later that night, so we did some photos with their jerseys last. Because I'm super thoughtful like that. Go Pens!
