Kids Birthday Photographer: Bird is Three
My little Bird man is three. I don't know how long he'll let me do birthday portraits, but so far he's into it. Lately he's started asking me to take his picture (while we were on vacation, he asked me to take his picture with a fire hydrant.) He's sweet, and smart, and he likes hugs as much as I do. For this year's little milestone session, I decided to just take the camera along on his actual birthday, and document our day.Wake up: trains.Unfortunately, our first order of business was going to the pediatrician to get some staples removed. On the way down to Florida, he fell off of a hotel bed and had to get three staples in the back of his noggin.Waving at some lady across the parking lot. He's extremely social. The trouble with popsicles is that he loves them, because sugar, but he's also mad at them, because cold. After the doctor, we went to Cal to kill some time until we could meet John for lunch. I took one billion photos, because he's adorable and I can't help myself. It's a long walk from the River Lot to the library, so we took a break. This is a lot of sass for such a small guy.See? Sass."Ugh, I like don't even want to go to class right now."It's lunchtime, hey what's for lunch? (He hasn't watched Bubble Guppies in like, a year and that's still lodged in my brain.)"You better not, dad!"He gets deeply focused when he's playing.Sometimes he wants to get closer than my lens will really allow.Pocket train.Happy birthday, darlin.
