Cake Smash with Lazarus

I love working with this kid. He's so happy, he makes the best faces, and I get to hang out with his mom, who is cool as hell. Oh, and that hair. Come on. They both make my job super easy. Somehow little man is already a year old, so I set up at his house for a cake smash to celebrate (Yep, it looks like a studio, but it's set up in their house. Photography is magic.)Some kids are a little hesitant about the cake, but he'd had his birthday party a few weeks before. It's not a bad idea to introduce your little ones to cake BEFORE their photo session. Folks forget that babies have never seen cake before, so they don't know how good it is. This dude knows what's up.We had to call in the professional clean up crew for this one.He's really channeling Jim Morrison on the left, there.  You missed a spot, man.
