Quarantine Diaries

We've been lucky. We have a yard to run in, John is still able to work, and we've been keeping food in the house. Everyone's staying healthy, and we're lucky. I miss shooting, though. I can't work right now (like, legally can't and also ethically can't) so I've been taking more photos around the house.

It's a mish mash. Some of these are from my phone, some from my Nikon. Some of them John or Johnny took (Hank doesn't quite have the motor skills yet.) They're not always in the best light, and I didn't even try to cover what a chaotic mess our living room is. But it's what our life has been the past few weeks.

We made homemade play-doh, in rainbow colors.

Trains are featured pretty heavily in our day to day here.

Boop

I know they'll have fights in their futures, but I love the way these kids look at each other.

Johnny took these.

When I'm getting Henry to sleep, Johnny likes to climb into my lap and say "you got your boys!"

John took all of these.

We even took pictures of each other at the same time.

We did a few video meetings with friends.

Smashed pennies on the railroad tracks.

Made a funfetti cake for my birthday, and some new quarantine friends.

Johnny also took this picture of uh... mostly my feet.

Guess who's teething?

Johnny caught his very first fish, and did not want to be anywhere near it.

We visited the Amtrak station, since it's closed and no one's there.

Also a local railyard, where there was also nobody but us.

He asked me to give him a quarantine haircut.

We started putting in our garden, and did some backyard train watching.
